The 12th China Engineering& Technology ExpoSri Lanka（CET2013）,hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China and organized by CMEC InternationalExhibition Co. , Ltd., was held from 13th to 17th in November,2013 at World Trade Center in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka under strong support from Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, Ministry of Industry& Commerce of Sri Lanka, China International Contractors Association and China Machinery Engineering Corporation. The great successes were achieved during 5 days of the exhibitions and received great publicity.
China Engineering & Technology Expo （CET） is a noncommercial large-scale national overseas exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China, aiming to promote strength and achievements of China’s contractors and relevant companies, to help increase the international market share of China’s construction industry in other countries, and to contribute to the c o m m u n i c a t i o n o n cooperation construction technologies between China and the host countries.
A s a n a n n u a l event, CET 2013 （SriLanka） came in the 12th edition this year, and the previous eleven editions were held at an array of countries including UAE, Brazil, India, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Canada, Russia, Venezuela and Romania, and received very positive feedback from the industry.
After the steady development in the past years, China has accumulated extensive experience in infrastructure construction field and industrial updating. With the increase in the need for construction, it is expected that there will be an increase in the cooperation between companies in the two countries.
